The story
Dana Reyes took over the roaster from her father and kept the rule he wrote on the wall: nobody waits for coffee without hearing their name. The copper kettle in the window is the original 1962 roaster drum.
Why locals know this place
The Reyes family has roasted on Milldam Commons since the demo district was seeded. Regulars' orders are chalked above the bar, and the corner table has hosted the same Tuesday chess game for years.
